LIVING LOUD: Debut CD To Receive International Release
July 4, 2004LIVING LOUD, the new "supergroup" consisting of Bob Daisley (OZZY OSBOURNE, RAINBOW, URIAH HEEP) on bass, Steve Morse (DEEP PURPLE, KANSAS, DIXIE DREGS) on guitar, Don Airey (DEEP PURPLE, RAINBOW) on keyboards, Lee Kerslake (URIAH HEEP, OZZY OSBOURNE) on drums and Jimmy Barnes (COLD CHISEL) on vocals, will release their self-titled debut album (formerly known as "Relentless") internationally in late August/early September through EMI Records. The CD, which will feature new artwork (with Airey also appearing on the cover),will include two live tracks from the band's debut gig — "Crazy Train" and "Good Times". In addition, plans exist for EMI to launch the group's much-anticipated DVD during the same period. Depending on the region, the CD and DVD will be available as separate items, or as a DVD/CD double pack. The DVD will be available in PAL and NTSC formats, and will feature two bonus tracks not found on the CD ("Gimme Some Lovin'" and "Good Times").
LIVING LOUD's debut album was recorded in Florida at Greg Rikes studio with producer Darren Schneider, who has worked with DEEP PURPLE, MATCHBOX 20 and CREED. The keyboards were subsequently laid down and at AIR studios in London, where the entire affair was mixed. The album includes five new original songs written by Steve, Jimmy, Lee and Bob, along with several cover versions of various OZZY OSBOURNE classics.
